Bhubaneswar:Salman Khan fans have rejoiced the actor’s Christmas gift to them in the form of Tiger Zinda Hai released in 5700 theatres simultaneously worldwide. The action-packed film, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, stars Katrina Kaif, Girish Karnad, is running to packed houses in the city. And the first day first shows have been occupied up to 80 per cent, revealed sources in local theatres. The movie released in 4600 theatres in India is expected to cash in anywhere above Rs 100 crore in the first weekend itself, claims Pauli Ray.

Satya Mishra says the sequel to Ek Tha Tiger reunites the viewers with Salman The Spy who falls in love with a Pakistani mole and goes sabbatical. He comes back to act after a bunch of Indian nurses were kidnapped by a terror outfit. “We have been watching Salman’s actionpacked movies for years along with his fabulous dialogues. This one is no different. The action sequences are awesome,’’ adds Mishra.
Sneha Mullick, another movie buff, says Tiger Zinda Hai has delivered a cryptic message: Two neighbours – India and Pakistan –
can fight against the scourge of terrorism and pave the way for peace and harmony to the subcontinent.
Rupesh, a Salman Fan Club member in the city, who watched the film along with club members atMaharaja theatre, said this film was no different from other potboiler stuff. “I loved the action and song Swag se karenge swagat. The club members installed a giant Salman poster outside theatres and cut the cake.
