Sambalpur: Police Thursday morning recovered the body of Simran Singh, well known as ‘Selfie Bebo’, from Mahanadi river bed.
Clad in jeans pant and jacket, multiple injuries were found on her body. A leather bag was also found near the body.
While cause of the death is yet to be ascertained, her mother registered a complaint with the police alleging that her daughter was murdered elsewhere before being dumped on the river bed.
She shot into limelight after her Sambalpuri album ‘Selfie Bebo’. Her other hits include, ‘Rikshawala Returns’.
