Berhampur: Acting on a tip-off, Town police Monday busted a prostitution racket running from a rented house here. Three persons including the house owner were arrested during the raid, police said.
Meanwhile, two sex workers have been rescued from the house. Later, the women were sent to a rehabilitation home. The sex racket was busted at Hatibandha Sahi under Baidyanathpur police limits here.
The police also seized some objectionable items from the spot. The identity of the arrested persons is yet to be ascertained. Sources said flesh trade was being run in the rented house for a long time.
Further investigation into the incident is under way, the police added.
