Baliapal: Acting on a tip-off, the Baliapal police busted a sex racket running in an Anganwadi worker’s house in Balasore district Saturday.
The raid team also rescued a girl and a youth was arrested in this connection. The two were found in a compromising state inside the worker’s house, it was learnt.
According to sources, the Anganwadi worker was running the sex racket in the disguise of rent. Locals suspecting foul play alerted the cops who conducted a sudden raid and the arrest was made.
The raid team also seized many objectionable things from the house. The two were then taken to the police station for interrogation, Baliapal IIC Pascal Ekka said adding that a further probe was on into the incident.
