It might sound sexy and weird at the same time for modern people, but it is true. Women here are often seen only with sarees. No blouse is allowed to be worn by women in this place.
This is seen in inborn regions of Chhattisgarh. However, there is a reason behind the tradition. As per reports, women here are mostly farmers and work in fields and farmlands to earn a living.
It is believed that to resist the excess heat during work, women did not wear blouse and the tradition continued. On the other hand, in the cities, fashion is now wearing non-blouse sarees. Some models are posting their photos on social media by wearing a free sari to support it.
