Mumbai: Actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead 14 June at his Bandra flat.
It is being said that the deceased actor was in depression for the last six months and also discontinued medicines.
More than a month has passed since Sushant’s death, but his fans are not happy with Mumbai Police’s investigation and are demanding a CBI inquiry.
A lot of people have given their opinions on Sushant’s untimely demise. The latest in line is 2012 Nirbhaya rape victim’s lawyer Seema Samridhi.
In her latest tweet, Seema has questioned the police. She asked why the police declared it as a suicide when there were signs of an alleged murder. She wrote, “14 जून को ही डाउट हो गया था कि ये सुसाइड नहीं है।सुशांत सिंह राजपूत की डेड बॉडी को देखकर प्रथमधृष्टता ये एक प्रायोजित मर्डर लग रहा था।गले का निशान जो कहीं से भी फाँसी के फंदे का निशान नहीं लग रहा था;सुसाइड नोट नहीं था,फिर बिना अन्वेषण के मुंबई ने सुसाइड क्यों बताया? (On June 14, a doubt surfaced that it is not suicide. Looking at the mortal remains of Sushant Singh Rajput, it seemed like an alleged murder. The mark on his neck did not seem to be the mark of hanging from anywhere; No, suicide note, then why did they call it a suicide without investigation?).”

Seema’s post has received a lot of support from Sushant’s fans.
Earlier, Seema requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to hand over the case to Central Bureau of Investigation. The lawyer has spoken up in support of the CBI inquiry.
Police have so far questioned more than three dozen people in this case. The police have also recorded statements from Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, friend Sandeep Singh, his Dil Bechara co-star Sanjana Sanghi, flatmate Siddharth Pithani, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and many others. The investigation of the case is still underway.
A couple of days ago, Rhea too made the same demand as she tweeted to Union Home Minister Amit Shah requesting a CBI probe.
