Keonjhar: Panic gripped the Ghasipura post office after smoke emitted from a parcel in this district Thursday.
However, when the fire officials unwrapped the parcel, they found five half-burnt solar lights inside.
According to reports, some officials spotted smoke coming out from a parcel in the morning.
The parcel, which came from Ghasipura Post Office, was addressed to Deogaon in the district.
“Suspecting danger, we isolated the parcel near a bush. As instructed by our higher authorities, we informed Ghasipura police about the incident,” an official said.
On being informed, fire officials rushed to the spot.
