Bhubaneswar: The state government Thursday appointed financial expert Sopnendu Mohanty as the advisor for digital and financial technology.
The state government has given him Minister of State (MoS) status. Official sources said Mohanty will collect feedback from beneficiaries of different schemes implemented by the state government and give suggestions to the minister concerned for better implementation of schemes.
Odisha-born Mohanty is currently working with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) under the government of Singapore.
