Bhubaneswar: Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for recruitment of 1,065 posts of lecturers in different subjects in non-government aided colleges of Odisha, a notification issued by the State Selection Board (SSB) read.

Closing date of online applications: October 13, 2023 (11.45 PM)

The official website informed that, initially the functions SSB included recruitment of candidates for appointment in different categories of teaching posts in non-government aided colleges, aided high schools and ME schools. Later, when the Education and Youth Services Department split into different parts, the board started recruiting lecturers for non-government-aided colleges of the state.
Afterwards, the Board was given the task of hiring non-teaching staff for all state universities under the Higher Education Department. Recently, the government decided that the board will also recruit non-teaching staff for government colleges, like librarians, laboratory attendants, and physical education teachers.
