Bhubaneswar: In an attempt to further catalyse the state’s ongoing transformation, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the state government and Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBI) Friday. As part of this understanding, TBI will provide advisory support to the government to enable it to successfully deliver on its overall economic agenda. The collaboration, a non-commercial project, involves strategy development support, delivery and implementation support, and strategic communications support.
Under these support initiatives, TBI will undertake a range of activities such as current-state analysis, external benchmarking, roadmap design, capacity development, effective communication of core reforms to enhance adoption, and many others. These initiatives, coupled with TBI’s expertise in leveraging insights from various public and private stakeholders, are expected to further catalyze Odisha’s ongoing transformation. The TBI, through its interventions in various areas, aims to help build more open, inclusive, and prosperous societies for people everywhere.
On this occasion, Electronics, Information Technology, Sports and Youth Services & Minister Tusharkanti Behera, Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena, development commissioner-cum additional chief secretary Anu Garg, additional chief Secretary to Home Department Deoranjan Kumar Singh, principal secretary, Finance Vishal Kumar Dev, principal secretary to E&IT Manoj Kumar Mishra were present on the occasion. The MoU was signed by E&IT special secretary Manas Ranjan Panda and TBI’s country director Vivek Agarwal.
