Bhubaneswar: Four aides of gangster Tito alias Syed Usman Ali were arrested Wednesday by the Special Task Force of the Crime Branch. The arrest was made as part of the ongoing raids of STF following interrogation of Tito and the detainees.
The four arrested are Golden Papu, SK Abdulla, Imtiaz Khan and Jahangir Khan. The four are among the eight persons detained by the Crime Branch Tuesday for interrogation over their alleged links with the gangster Tito.
STF sources said that the number of arrests may increase following interrogation of the detainees. Multiple teams have been formed to carry out raids in different parts of the state.
It may be mentioned here that Tito was sent to Barimul jail in Kendrapara district after being produced before the SDJM court here Monday. He was produced before the court by the STF following the end of his three-day remand.
