Bhubaneswar: Bhavan’s Centre for Communication and Management (BCCM) organised a two-day event ‘Bhavan’s Emerging Leader Contest 2K19’ and Samanwaya to provide a platform to the students of management institutes to showcase their managerial acumen and leadership capabilities in city, Monday.
Students from leading educational institutions like BJB Autonomous college, Deba Ray college, DAV School of Business Management, Gandhi Institute For Technology, Sri Sri University, Regional College of Management, Dept of management studies Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Prananath Autonomous College, Khurda, Revenshaw University, Cuttack, Institute of Entrepreneurship Development, College of IT and Management Education, Global Institute of Management, Institute of Management and Information Technology, Sambad School of Media and Culture, Birla Institute of Technology and Management Bhubaneswar participated at the contest.
In a bid to hone the leadership skills among student, BCCM conducted various competitions like Brand Maniac (business quiz), Chanakya (The Best Manager), Master the Mic (proficiency in singing), Mind Hunter (Treasure Hunt), Lasya (Dance). Whereas the Samanwaya 2K19 has been designed post graduate level management students and it will include competitions like Stock Master(trade war), Utkarsh (Idea Presentation), The Boss (The Ultimate CEO), The mad show (Nukkad Natak), Mind Hunter (treasure Hunt).
Eminent personalities from industries and academics judged and evaluated the performance of students in various competitions.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by by Maj General B K Mahapatra (Chairman of BCCM), Prabodh Kumar Mohanty (Director (HRD) of Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Ltd) and DN Mishra (Prinicipal of D.A.V School of Business Management).
