BHUBANESWAR: The 12th annual function of Gandhi Institute for Technology (GIFT), Lellihan 2k19 was held with great glamour and glitz at its campus here Tuesday. Gracing the occasion as chief guest, IG of police, Amitabh Thakur underlined the importance of students in shaping the future of the country.
Founder of Silicon Techlab, Bhubaneswar, Suresh Chandra Nayak urged the students to explore the untraded horizons of life transcending academic knowledge. The chief speaker of the occasion, Pandit Matruprasd Mishra, national public relation secretary of Puri Gobardhan Pith, enlightened the students about the need of blending technology with spirituality for a successful and peaceful life.
Other dignitaries who spoke on occasion were principal S. Krishna Mohan Rao, Vice Principal, Alok Kumar Mohapatra, and Vice chairman Patitapaban Panda, Registrar Vivek Sharma, CEO of Balram Panda Trust, Sameer Ranjan Panda and convener Sudhanshu Bhusan Pati.
Winners in different events held in the college were awarded and the employees who have completed ten years at GIFT were felicitated. The program was coordinated by BKN Satapathy, Vikasita Mohanty and Ashok kumar Panigrahi.
