Chennai: India’s Dipika Pallikal Karthik upset fourth-seeded Emily Whitlock 11-9, 11-8, 7-11, 11-8 to advance to the last eight of USD 50,000 San Francisco Open squash tournament in San Francisco, Tuesday. This was her fourth consecutive victory over her English rival. Pallikal seemed to be cruising to a comfortable win after winning the first two games but Whitlock kept the contest alive by bagging the third game. However, the Indian kept her composure to win the fourth game and with it the match.
