Mumbai: Actress Sara Ali Khan, who shared the screen space with Sushant Singh Rajput in blockbuster movie Kedarnath, has admitted that she was dating the late actor and it was a short relationship.
Sara confessed to NCB officials that she was indeed in a relationship with Sushant as speculated by media. Their relationship grew during the shooting of her debut movie Kedarnath.
Sara’s debut film Kedarnath came in the year 2018, in which her opposite Sushant Singh Rajput was.
NCB questioned Sara for hours on the drugs angle related to the Sushant. During this time, she also admitted that she was dating Sushant and also revealed why she had a breakup with the late actor. According to reports, the actress said that Sushant was not loyal to her in the relationship.
Apart from this, Sara also revealed many more things about her relationship with Sushant.
At the same time, during the interrogation of NCB, Sara denied allegations of taking drugs and confessed to smoking only cigarettes. Sara refuted Rhea’s allegation that she had taken a high dose of drugs during the shooting of the film Kedarnath. Sara said that she only smoked cigarettes with Sushant during the shooting of the film.
During the interrogation by NCB, Sara Ali Khan told that the affair of the two started during the shooting of the film in February 2018. Not only this, she also went to live with Sushant in his Mumbai-based resident Capri Heights. She also told that she also went with Sushant on Thailand trip.
Sara told NCB that she has also visited Sushant’s Lonavala farmhouse several times. In the NCB inquiry, Sara has categorically denied taking drugs, but the consumption of cigarettes is acceptable. The actress has also revealed that Sushant used to take drugs. In the drugs case, apart from Sara, fashion designer Simone Khambata including actress Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh have also been questioned by NCB. Rhea has given the names of all these celebrities in the NCB inquiry.
Just a week after Sushant’s death June 14, his friend Samuel Haokip claimed via a post on Instagram that ‘Sara and Sushant were in a relationship, but Sara had broken up after Sonchiraiya flopped at the box office. ‘
