Taylor swift to open Grammy Awards

Los Angeles: Singer Taylor Swift will open the upcoming 58th Annual Grammy Awards February 15 here with a song from her Grammy-nominated album “1989”. Four-time nominee Alabama Shakes, two-time nominee Joey Alexander and two-time nominee Miguel are also set to take the stage on the annual music night. The Recording Academy announced its final round of performers to the stellar line-up of more than 30 artistes, read a statement. Previously announced performers include Adele, Justin Bieber, Diplo, Don Henley, Ellie Goulding, Johnny Depp, Lady Gaga, John Legend, Demi Lovato, Rihanna and Skrillex among others. Hosted by LL Cool J, the annual musical gala will take place at Staples Centre here. The awards ceremony will be broadcast live in India on Vh1 channel February16. IANS
