Thrilling triumph

Newcastle: Lee Westwood beat Sergio Garcia here Tuesday in a thrilling shootout to win the one-hole Hero Knockout Challenge golf tournament in front of a 4000-strong crowd at the Close House Golf course. In his earlier rounds, Westwood had beaten Ross Fisher and Bernd Wiesberger in a similar fashion. Pawan Munjal, chairman, CEO and MD of Hero MotoCorp, who first brought this format into the game last year, gave away the prizes.
