Puri: After crossing Palasa in Srikakulam district, the impact of cyclone Titli in Puri town Thursday was not as severe as it was predicted.
However, the sea here is turbulent with high tides since morning due to gusty wind reaching 50-60 kmph.
The sea water has inundated the makeshift shops at Swargdwar. The tide water has touched the road in front of Renuka lane on the beach. Due to gusty wind, sand particles are blowing onto the road, forming a layer on Marine Drive.
