Twins improving; to stay in ICU for next 7-10 days

Bhubaneswar: The health condition of the separated conjoined twins Jaga and Balia is stable and is slowly improving, a release from AIIMS-New Delhi said Monday. Their breathing is good and hemodynamically stable. The condition of Jaga and Balia is stable but they are in ICU as the duo is still sick. They will be in the ICU for another 7-10 days or even more depending on need. “We hope their condition will improve slowly over next 10 to 15 days. A team of 15 consultants and 10 resident doctors is looking after them,” the release said. They are looked after by neuro anaesthetists and neurosurgeons besides pediatric intensive care specialists.
