Bhawanipatna: Police Tuesday arrested two persons on allegation of leaking question paper for recruitment of junior clerks conducted by the Staff Selection Board at Government (Autonomous) College here Sunday.
The accused were identified as Binayak Tandi of Golamunda and his friend Bhakta Senapati of Dharmagarh. Tandi was sitting the examination as a candidate, Sunday.
A case was registered in this connection and the accused produced in court. The court rejected their bail pleas and remanded them in judicial custody.
Tandi is accused of taking a photograph of the question paper on his mobile phone in the examination hall and forwarding it to his friend Senapati through Whatsapp. Invigilator Himanshu Sarangi immediately informed the Town police after learning about the incident. Police conducted a probe and arrested the two youths, police added.
