UBI celebrates foundation day

Bhubaneswar: The 68th Foundation Day of United Bank of India was celebrated in all its branches and offices in Orissa.
On this Occasion a meeting was organized under the Chairmanship of Mukti Rajan Ray, Deputy General Manager and Chief Regional Manager of Bhubaneswar Region of the Bank in presence of valued customers and prospective business persons. Ray spoke of the formation of the Bank December 18, 1950, by amalgamation of four different Eastern India Banks. He went on to announce that Cuttack Bank Limited was also part of the then United Bank limited. He further said that since the Banks network is predominately spread in Eastern and North Eastern State of India and Odisha being one of the Eastern States having 135 branches.
The employees of the bank are directed to the customers and Business Houses of the state more than any other Bank. He called upon the customers to be part of banks business progress by availing loans under different sectors and by aviating third party products line such as LIC policy, mutual funds, share trading, and debit cards.
Chief Manager Sri Prasanta Pattaniak, Ratikanta Biswal, Manmatha Senapti, Santosh Dash, Jogeswar Pradhan, Judhistar Nayak, Lingaraj Loha also spoke. Customers, too, spoke of satisfactory customer Services offered by the bank.
