Bhubaneswar, April 1: United Sports Club Gandarpur, defeated Orissa Police 6-5 via the tie-breaker to win the Baramunda Cup football tournament here Wednesday. The winning team bagged a trophy and a cash award of Rs 10,000 which was handed over by state tourism and cultural minister Ashok Chandra Panda. The runner-up team got a trophy along with a cash of Rs 7,000 while the man of the tournament received Rs 1,000.

The 19-year-old has also been selected to participate in Asian Amateur Kickboxing Championships at Pune. She is a student of Talcher Silpanchal Women’s college.
