‘Mission Mangal’ actress Vidya Balan is all set to star in the forthcoming biopic of India’s legendary mathematician Shakuntala Devi.
Vidya’s look from the film was recently released and everyone seems to agree that she looks the spitting image of Devi. The actress can be seen in a saree flaunting a short bob hairstyle
According to some reports, the shooting for the film will star in London soon. Vidya reportedly waited four months after agreeing to do the film to familiarise herself with Devi, her nuances, her personality and of course, her craft. Known across the country as ‘the Human Computer’, Devi was a mathematics genius who was also quite popular for her wicked sense of humour.
Devi’s ingenuity was first discovered when she was just five. As per some records, she solved a mathematical problem that was originally designed for 18-year-old students.
The film starring Vidya Balan will be directed by Anu Menon who has also co-written the movie’s screenplay.
