Eminent sports organiser Golak Bihari Patnaik breathed his last after suffering a massive cardiac arrest at his Angul residence, Thursday. He was 62. Golak was the former executive member of National Bodybuilding Federation and former treasurer of Orissa Bodybuilding Association (OBA). All the members of OBA expressed their deep condolences over the sad demise of Golak.

Bhusandpur Chess Association (BCA) will organise the VIth Bhusandpur Chess Championship at Bhusandpur here January 14-14. “Participants below 1600 rating points are eligible to participate in the tournament, which carries a total prize purse of Rs 25,000,” BCA expressed in a press release Friday.
