Bhubaneswar: West Bengal (WB) hammered Odisha 4-0 to advance in the 74th National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy 2019-20 at Kalyani in West Bengal. With the victory, West Bengal qualified from this group of East Zone Qualifying Round. The hosts were dominant from the start as they wasted no time to go 1-0 up inside seven minutes as Arjun Tudu hit the target. However, Odisha showed some resistance as the teams went into the break with the 1-0 scoreline. However, the second half was completely different from the start as West Bengal struck three times to kill the match. Surojit Seal doubled the lead in the 54th minute before Md Farid made it 3-0 two minutes later. Arjun then struck his second of the match in the 63rd minute to complete the scoresheet.
