Bhadrak: A woman passenger, who was one among the 30 injured in a bus accident near Bhandari Pokhari Majurigadia here Wednesday night, succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack Thursday morning.
The deceased was identified as Rashmirekha Beuria from Luhasahi village of Dhusuri.
According to reports, the accident occurred when the driver of passenger bus ‘Kalpana’ lost control on the wheels near Majurigadia.
All the injured passengers have been rushed to the Bhandaripokhari government hospital. While 15 passengers were shifted to Bhadrak district headquarters hospital (DHH), Rashmirekha had been admitted at SCB Medical College and Hospital.
Rest of the passengers who were undergoing treatment at Bhandaripokhari government hospital have been discharged.
