Workshop on ‘Indian Vastu’ held

BHUBANESWAR: The annual open air workshop cum nature visit of Indian Vastu Academy was held at Salia Dam in Khorda, Tuesday.

Besides the regular workshop, students of the institute also visited the scenic Salia Dam. The institutes’ Managing Director Professor Sudhakar Mishra discussed about various vastu problems and how to eradicate them.

Interacting with students Mishra said, “Vastu strives to accomplish the best in the primeval Indian Science of Astrology and Vedic Vastu. Indian lifestyle often depends on Vastu Shastra as it has a huge connectivity with astrology. However, studying it doesn’t make much of a difference until the knowledge is used for someone’s benefit.”

A student Sasmita Ray said, “Indian Vastu may not be a rocket science but it’s unique in its approach, concept, content, deliverance and presentation to explore the basic human psychology. Delving into it, we can know much more about the future and leading a successful life. Moreover it’s a verified and well-observed science which manipulates the forces of Mother Nature to work in our favour.”

It may be noted that this Vastu academy have been a pioneer in Odisha to promote Vastu Knowledge. Various courses are offered in the institute and students across the state have been joining the institute to know more about the science.

During the workshop, students were given questions about Vastu problems of Salia Dam and asked to present practical solutions to fix it. The workshop also featured lectures of Binod Chandra Panda. Many other officials of the institute were also present on this occasion.
