Bhubaneswar: A two-day World Music and Yoga Day celebration, organised by City-based Dhrupad Music Foundation, came to an end here at GKCM Odissi Research Centre here, Thursday. On the second and concluding day, Padma Shri Gundecha Brothers of Madhya Pradesh was conferred with Dhrupad Ratna Jyoti Award-2023 while Arnav Chaghanti (Hyderabad), Shreyaanshi Pahwa(Punjab), and Vini Gupta(MP) received Little Dhrupad Singers Award-2023. Surya Narayan Pani from Odisha was felicitated with Dhrupad Music Foundation Scholarship Award-2023. Luminaries present on the occasion included MLA Soumya Ranjan Pattnaik, Padma Shri Shyamamani Devi, eminent vocalist and Prof (Dr.) Saroj Kumar Das Majumdar, Dept. of Radiation, Oncology, AIIMS-Bhubaneswar.
