Mumbai: Fans go to any extent to have a glimpse of their favourite stars in any field of life. Once upon a time, a man close to 60, stood in front of Amitabh Bachchan’s house for three days at a stretch to have a glimpse of the legendary actor.
Recently another such incident came to light when a man in his 20s from Haryana, Ankit Goswami was arrested by the Mumbai Police here Tuesday. His fault, he had broken into the house of actor Akshay Kumar in suburban Juhu locality. Police have booked him for trespassing.
A senior police official informed Thursday, that Ankit had no intention of committing any theft or burglary. All he wanted was a glimpse of the man he idolises.
Ankit found the actor’s address by using Google and he tried to break in late Monday night. However, he was caught by a security guard and handed over to the police.
Ankit was charged under IPC for trespassing. Currently he is in judicial custody, stated the police official.
