Sambalpur: A youth from Burla here has turned into a beggar to allegedly fulfill the demands of his girlfriend. This incident has come to light after the youth’s video begging outside the main gate of Sameshwari temple in the heart of the city came to light in the social media Wednesday morning.
The youth has been identified as Sushant.
The video showed Sushant sitting outside the main gate of Samleshwari temple where thousands of devotees come daily to offer their prayers. Sambalpur is said to be the most sought after place for beggars.
An age old saying goes like this, “if you do not get a job, just sit before Samleshwari temple” (and your pockets are full).
Similar way, Sushant in the video is seen saying that since his girlfriend demands to eat a new thing every other day, he runs out of money. He is begging to fulfill her demands of pizzas and burgers.
