New Delhi: It seems the failure of Zero at the box office has made Shah Rukh Khan, the ‘King of Romance’ selective.
Reports are ripe that King Khan who was about to feature in astronaut Rakesh Sharma’s biopic ‘Saare Jaahan Se Accha’ has now decided to act in Don 3 instead according to a section of media which reported the development Monday. Don 3 is likely to go on floors this year.
Reports have also stated that it was ‘Mr Perfectionist’ Aamir Khan who had suggested SRK’s name for the lead role in the biopic. In fact, SRK had also gone on record to thank Aamir for the role and said, “I thank Aamir Khan who was to do the film, for calling me and telling me about the role as it would suit me. Whenever I get the time, I will try and spend time with him (Rakesh Sharma).” But it appears that the film is not on cards anymore for SRK.
Notably, in 2018, even through heavy publicity, Zero did not fare well at the box office. It also featured Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif and was directed by Aanand L Rai.
