BHUBANESWAR: Acharya Tulasi Diagnostic centre, a project by Akhil Bharatiya Terapanth Yuvak Parishad, was inaugurated by the Governor of Odisha Ganeshi Lal at Terapanth Bhawan here Sunday.
Bhubaneswar Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena also visited the centre on the occasion. “Terapanth Yuva Parishad and Mahila Mandal are always striving for the development of the society. Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) is always supportive of such initiatives,” said Jena.
Chairman Bimal Kataria, general secretary Sandeep Kothari, Treasurer Naveen Bengani and members of Akhil Bharatiya Mahila Mandal were present on the occasion. A well-known young scientist Mahavir Golecha explained the advantages of spiritual and scientific approach towards the development of society.
Member and in-charge of Bhubaneswar zone of Akhil Bhatiya Terapanth Yuvak Parishad Ratan Manot, Lalit Katela, Sonu Golcha, Prem Sethia, Raseem Betal, Madhu Gidia, Vishal Duggad and Naresh Malu among others organised the event successfully.
“Most people from vulnerable sections can hardly afford regular check-ups for health related issues. We would provide medical check-ups with minimal charges to these people. We have also decided to provide free medical check-ups to people who cannot afford the charges,” said Virendra Betal.
“It may be a low cost treatment centre but the equipment and services on offer are of immense quality,” said Vishal, a member of Akhil Bharatiya Terapanth Yuvak Parishad.
