At a tender age Veronika Arora has showcased her talent in both acting and
modelling
Veronika Arora is a treasure-trove of talents. At a young age she has explored different fields – modelling and acting, apart from studies – and strives hard to stand out in everything she does.
Born and brought up in Delhi, Veronika studies in Adarsh Public School. Orissa POST interacts with the child artiste and her mother, Ruchika Arora, to know more about her interests and passions. Ruchika says: “One day an intimate friend of mine informed me about a kids fashion show and Veronika participated in that competition. That was the first time she participated in a contest and received a trophy. The senior artistes and judges present there applauded her performance and opined that she would do well in modelling. We were surprised to see her so confident in front of the camera; she was not nervous at all and seeing her confidence we started to take her to various competitions.”
Veronika says: “Till now I have worked with more than 50 brands and I have also done a serial, ‘Ek Shringaar – Swabhimaan’ under the banner of Rajshri Productions on Colors TV. Facing the camera is one of the best experiences and I love doing it. I got my first assignment when I was two years old. It was a stock images company, the renowned Imagesbazaar. I got selected and received my first cheque of Rs 2000.”
The little angel also has a couple of movies in her kitty. One of them is a Tamil movie called ‘Karu’, a horror film by AL Vijaya. It also marks the debut of Sai Pallavi in Tamil which stars Naga Shourya.
Veronika, fondly called Pari, is a friendly and gracious person. “She is crazy about dolls and likes to make her own stories and live in her own world. She is a stress buster on the sets as all the crew members with whom she had worked would readily testify. Everyone is fond of her and they let her free to play whenever she wants,” adds Ruchika.
Veronika’s parents prefer that she should shoot only on weekends and if she has to shoot on other days then they make sure to talk to her teachers so that if she misses something in class they would help her out with the lessons.
How does the little girl manage to balance studies and other engagements? “Earlier it was not difficult to balance everything but these days it is,” she says. “The pressure of studies is as severe as the syllabus is vast. Thanks to the full cooperation and support of my parents and teachers, I haven’t yet faced any problem. Whenever I miss classes due to shooting my teachers take extra classes so I can complete my syllabus on time. Education is very important and therefore I have declined many offers. At present I want to focus only on studies; acting and dancing are my passion and I will pursue them wholeheartedly later on.”
Who is Pari’s favourite actor? Who else but the macho man Salman Khan with whom she wants to work at least once in her life.
Veronika is so fond of Maggi that she would love to have it even if served every day. Otherwise she is not a foodie in that sense and likes whatever her mom prepares for her.
