Bhubaneswar, June 22: Twenty-two days after the publication of Plus II results, the state government Monday began online admission process for Plus III classes.
Candidates can get online application forms from the official website of higher education department www.dheodisha.com. Those seeking to fill up forms manually or offline will have to visit their nearest student admission management system (SAMS) resource centre set up in various colleges across the state.
The last date for applying online through the higher education department’s website will be mid-night of July 6 while for offline mode, it will be 5pm of July 7. The deadline for submitting print copy of online application forms at the nearest SAMS resource centre will be 5pm of July 7.
The authorities will validate the online application forms and digitise offline forms and upload on e-space of SAMS portal by July 10.
The first merit list will be published at 11am of July 15 while the admissions will begin July 16 and conclude July 20. Simultaneously, admission data of the first admission list will be uploaded on the college website July 22.
Similarly, the second merit list will be published at 11am of July 25 while the admissions will begin July 27 to July 29. The admission data will be uploaded on respective college websites at 5pm of July 31.
The vacant seats after admission of candidates selected in the second merit list will be filled up through spot selection which will begin 11am of August 3. Candidates will have to register for the remaining seats at respective colleges August 3.
The merit list of the spot admission will be published on the college notice boards of respective colleges August 5 and admissions will be made August 6. The classes of Plus III first year will begin the same day.
