Bhubaneswar: Special Task Force (STF) of the Crime Branch arrested two associates of Tito alias Sayed Usman Ali Tuesday.
The arrested persons are Dipti Ranjan Das alias Lulu of SipI Mukundapur village in Jagatsinghpur district and Chitaranjan Sahoo alias Habula of Saradola under Tangi police limits in Cuttack district.
They were arrested under section 387, 506, 120 (B) and 34 of IPC.
During search operation on their house of Dipti at Jagatsinghpur and Bhubnaswar Sunday, the STF seized various incriminating documents including a pistol with 12 rounds of live bullets, two luxurious cars and Rs 64,250.
The arrested persons were produced in the court of JMFC, Kujang.
Further investigation is on for arrest of other accused, sources said.
