Cuttack: In a bomb explosion, a house collapsed killing two men and critically injuring another at Ghodabara village under Banki police limits here late Friday night.
The deceased have been identified as Pabitra Nayak and Manas Nayak.
Reportedly, people of two slums were having a heated argument over a piece of land and some miscreants allegedly hurled bombs at the house in a revenge bid. The house came crashing down and the three present inside the house got trapped in the debris.
Police from Banki police station and fire personnel rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation.
While the two persons died on the spot, the injured was admitted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack for treatment. Till last reports came in, his condition was stated to be critical.
