Bhubaneswar: Commissionerate Police attached two bank accounts of Dhalasamanta brothers in Vishakhapatnam. The brothers were arrested January 28.
Twin city Police Commissioner Yogesh Bahadur Khurania told media a team of Commissionerate Police is in Vishakhapatnam and they have attached two bank accounts of Sushant Kumar Dhalasamanta there.
“We have attached two bank accounts of Sushant in Vishakhapatnam which had Rs 7 lakh. We are probing the properties he has in Vishakhapatnam. We have already traced the house in Vishakhapatnam where Sushant was staying and after gathering all the information we will pass it on to the Enforcement Directorate,” he said.
On being asked from where the brothers obtained arms and ammunitions, Khurania said they are investigating about it. Police said the brothers had connections with Uttar Pradesh’s don Raja Bhaiya alias Raghuraj Pratap Singh. The sources added that the Dhalasamanta brothers have told the police that they had obtained the guns from Raja Bhaiya.
After getting the brothers on a 7-day- remand February 1, police Tuesday brought Sushil and Sushant to Chauliaganj police station to grill them on their immense wealth and crime.
