Berhampur: A total of 21.33 per cent voters have turned up in Aska Lok Sabha constituency and the seven Assembly seats under it till 11am.
It was only 8.38 per cent till 9am in the morning. However, voters later turned up in larger numbers by 11am.
Khallikote Assembly constituency witnessed 10.23 per cent polling, while it was 26.5 per cent in Polasara. Similarly, 27 per cent polling was recorded in Kabisuryanagar, 22.31 in Aska, 20.5 in Sorada, 20.4 in Sanakhemundi and 20.4 per cent in Hinjili, reports said.
These seven seats going to polls today come under Ganjam district. Another Assembly constituency coming under this district is Bhanjanagar which recorded 21 per cent polling.
According to latest updates from the ground, voting is being carried out smoothly in all the booths, with no further reports of violence or any untoward incident.
