Bhubaneswar: The Capital City is set to come alive this Sunday (January 18) as the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) prepares to host the second Patha Utsav of the year on the Baramunda– Jagamara New Road.
In preparation for the event, a high-level meeting was recently held under the chairpersonship of BMC Mayor Sulochana Das.
The meeting was attended by Cultural Standing Committee Chairman Ramchandra Ranasingh, member Mihir Kumar Rout, Additional Commissioner Ratnakar Sahoo, Kailash Chandra Das, and other senior officials of the corporation.
Officials unanimously agreed that the upcoming Patha Utsav would be more vibrant and engaging than the first edition held earlier this winter at Master Canteen.
This time, several new games and cultural activities will be introduced, with a special focus on children’s entertainment. Renowned playback singers Diptirekha Padhi and Jayashree Dhal will headline the musical performances, promising to captivate youth and music lovers alike.
Another major attraction will be two separate “Bhubaneswar’s Got Talent” stages, aimed at showcasing the City’s hidden talents. A second stage featuring DJ music will keep the audience grooving throughout the morning.
