Jeypore: A minor boy died after a portion of an abandoned office building caved in at Lingaraj Nagar here in Koraput district Friday. The deceased is yet to be identified.
According to sources, the incident occurred in the morning when the eight-year-old boy was playing near an abandoned building. The minor died on the spot after being crushed under the debris of the wall.
Some passersby, who spotted the body of the minor trapped under the debris, informed the family members.
On being informed, police reached the spot and seized the body. Sources said, the boy was a Class III student in a local school.
