Bhubaneswar, Jan 20: The 3rd edition of the Entrepreneurial Conclave, E-Summit -2018, by IIT Bhubaneswar, was inaugurated Friday.
The event was graced by Sumit Kumar Chand (Vice President of Machine Learning Innovation), Prasanjeet Pati (MD and Afixi Technologies Pvt Ltd), JK Rath (Director of Mechem Pvt Ltd), ND Rao (Sr Vice-President, Jindal Steel) and Prof PKJ Mohapatra (Professor, IIT Bhubaneswar).
The guests shared different views and future implications on the theme of the summit “Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Digital Era”. This was followed by a symbolic lamp lighting event by Prof RV Rajakumar, Director, IIT Bhubaneswar. Chairman, Dr Rajan Jha then gave a brief about the three-day event. In his address on the occasion Director, IIT Bhubaneswar highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship in today’s competitive world and termed the entrepreneurs as the nation’s pride. The Guest of honour, Srikumar Mishra spoke about the entrepreneurial world and briefed the students about what it is to be and how to become a successful entrepreneur.
Chief Co-ordinator of the Summit, Santosh Mutyala proposed the vote of thanks.
