Rourkela: A married woman was gang-raped by four persons including a minor at Sector-7 here, in Sundargarh district, late Sunday night.
Acting on a complaint by the victim’s husband Monday morning, police arrested two persons including the minor. The two others were absconding. The incident caused tension in the area.
Sources said the woman was alone at home while her husband had gone out for work. The four barged into the house, outraged her modesty and fled the spot.
When the victim’s husband returned home, he found the woman in a critical condition. She was rushed to the Rourkela government hospital (RGH). Later, he lodged a complained with the police.
Police arrested two of the accused and sent them for medical examination.
