Indo-Asian News Service, New Delhi: The AAP’s politics is not aimed at “stopping” Prime Minister Narendra Modi but it is about transparency in governance, party leader Manish Sisodia said Thursday.
He also told NDTV that the new Aam Aadmi Party government of Arvind Kejriwal “will definitely pursue the FIR we lodged against former chief minister Sheila Dikshit”.
Speaking after he and Kejriwal met Modi, Sisodia said, “Our politics is not to stop Narendra Modi. It is about transparency in governance. We have no personal differences with Modi.”
He said the AAP’s focus right now was Delhi. “That is what we have been voted for. We aren’t thinking of Punjab or other states right now.”
He insisted that new electricity tariff rates would be announced as soon as possible.
