Siddharthnagar: At least 20 school children sustained serious injuries after a school bus ferrying them skidded off the road and fell into a pond in Khaira village of Sidhharthnagar in Uttar Pradesh, Tuesday morning.
Sources said, around 45 children were en route to their school when the incident occurred. The bus fell into a pond after the driver lost balance on the wheels.
No casualty was reported till the filing of this report. The injured students were rescued and admitted to a nearby hospital.
Police with the help of fire tender team recovered the bus while a probe was on.
