Cuttack: The Vigilance officials arrested a Revenue Inspector (RI) on bribery charges Tuesday.
He has been identified as Kishore Chandra Nayak of Khariar tehsil in Nuapada district.
According to reports, Nayak was arrested while accepting a bribe of Rs 3,000 from one Muralidhar Rana to provide the inquiry report of a mutation case.
Vigilance sleuths laid a trap acting on the complaint of Rana and arrested Nayak while accepting the bribe.
A case has been registered in this regard.
