Bhubaneswar: The recently released patriotic song Ae Desha Ama Maa by Aamra Muzik has recorded more than 8,000 views in YouTube within six hours of its release Tuesday.
While the lyrics have been penned down by Saroj Patnaik, Somesh Satpathy has directed the music.
Interacting with Orissa POST, Patnaik said, “Since childhood I have been attracted towards patriotic songs.” He mentioned that he was delighted when Satpathy asked him to write the lyrics for the song.
The other singers of the song are Tapu Mishra, Deepti Rekha Padi, Rojalin Sahu, Arpita Choudhury, Suman Das, Sashanka Sekhar, Swayam Pravat Padhi and Kumar Debananda.
In her reaction, Tapu Mishra said, “After a long time I got the opportunity to sing such a lovely song and I must say that each one of us (singers) has given their best.” Mishra was taken aback by the response that the song received on YouTube saying, “The mammoth reaction in just six hours has only encouraged us to sing more patriotic songs.”
Another singer in the video, Kumar Debananda, also felt amazed by the sheer love of people “testified by the YouTube views.”
