Koraput: An injured rock python was rescued at Digapur village in Boipariguda Tehsil of Koraput district Saturday morning.
The huge snake with injuries on its head was spotted by the locals following which they informed the forest officials to rescue the python from the area.
Getting information, forest personnel reached the spot and rescued the injured reptile.
The python was sent to a veterinary hospital under Boipariguda range for treatment.
