Bhubaneswar: The Council of ministers headed by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will meet August 23 morning at 10.30 am to discuss and approve supplementary budget for the year 2018-19, official sources said here Monday. Finance Minister Shashi Bhusan Behera is likely to present the supplementary budget September 4. Besides, there will be a meeting of state Cabinet August 24 evening. The agenda of the meeting has not been disclosed. The government is likely to approve some important projects and bills in the Cabinet as the monsoon session of the state Assembly will start September 4.
