Bargarh: Town police busted a sex racket and rescued a woman apart from arresting three persons in this connection from a house at Nadipada on the outskirts of Bargarh late Sunday night.
The arrested were identified as Ranjan Swain, Bablu Satpathy and Narsingh Bhoi of Danga village. However, the mastermind of the racket Bhojaraj Bagarti of Jampali village under Sohela police limits managed to escape the police dragnet.
“The rescued woman is from Mumbai. The three accused will be produced in a court,” Town IIC Bibhuti Bhushan Bhoi said.
He said that the accused were running the sex racket by taking the house on rent at Nadipada where they used to bring women from outside to run the illegal trade. A special team, acting on intelligence inputs, raided the house at late night and caught the woman in a compromising position with a youth.
