Phulnakhara: A scrap-laden truck overturned after hitting another vehicle near Bamphakuda on National Highway 16 here Thursday night.
Sources said the driver of the truck (OR-05E-0155), on its way from Bhubaneswar to Cuttack, lost control over the vehicle and hit another truck from rear. The truck overturned under to the impact of the collision while the other vehicle sped away. On being informed, Cuttack Sadar police reached the spot and seized the truck. The injured driver has been admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital.
